Rated F: for frustrating

Had a hard time getting our Kara groups together last night, lots of frustration all around. Finally got Kara Group 1 off the ground and they did amazing. All the way to Nightbane I believe. Seeing as how I wasn't in the raid I can't like loot. I know they listed it in /g but I wasn't really paying attention. Both groups are going back in tonight, and we'll kick massive ass. It's just what we do.

Tried to run MrT since KG2 wasn't going in. Got through the first couple of pulls and died, decided we didn't have enough CC and moved on.

As a guild we're gonna try to run MrT on Monday. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

By the time we got out of MrT most of KG1 was feeling giggily, so a lot of hilarity ensued through /g and PSTS. Apparently JD was running around in my pants ... and here I didn't even know they were missing!

I really love my guild, it's nice to know that even with some mild problems we can still be silly and laid back and still function as a family. It's really odd to say that, but for the most part that's how we function. Our guild is always there for one another, and always tries to keep things light hearted and fun. And still go in and WTFPWN faces!

Our MrT group decided to go into Heroic Mech. Couldn't get in 'cause Kal didn't have enough rep, but that didn't stop us. We all zoned out and reset that bitch to regular. I have a love/hate with that instance. Okay mainly hate but still, you try running an inst 25+ times to get a piece of gear. Anyway did the rep run, only wiped once, and that was because of a fluke accident. Got the rep and was able to DE all the gear that dropped. OF COURSE as my luck would have it, yanno that one piece of gear I ran 25 times to get, it dropped the first time we were there. Moonglade Robe FTL! At least running the inst was easy since I could remember all the pulls and such.

Be gentle it's my 1st time.

Last night I had the pleasure of starting up and leading my first ever Kara raid. While it was a bit hectic I really did enjoy myself and was very pleased with my group, and with how smoothly things ran.

However I must give credit where credit is due, I would not have been able to organize my raid so successfully without the help of a few people. (At this current time I'm debating if I want to list them or not. I'm going with most likely not. However I know without a doubt who they are.)

No screen caps from last night, lets face it I was too lazy and most of the time I couldn't stop laughing, as there were balls flying everywhere, and we were too busy sacrificing hunters to the Opera gods.

Moroes
Had the spawns of:
Baroness Dorothea Millstipe (Shadow Priest)
Baron Rafe Dreuger (Retribution Paladin)
Lady Keira Berrybuck (Holy Paladin)
Lord Robin Daris (Arms Warrior)

Everyone went down with little trouble. Had a bit of a problem at first with some death and destruction, okay mainly death on our part but still. We got our loot and had some fun so that's all that mattered.

He dropped:
Shadow-Cloak of Dalaran which was picked up by: Tabes
Edgewalker Longboots which was picked up by: Tarina (yours truly this will make an excellent addition to my feral kitty set)

After downing Moroes we debated on where we would go next, and after a few minutes of conversation, and more ball throwing, we decided that with our group build we'd be best heading for Opera. Cleared the trash there fairly well, had only one casualty the whole time (Sorry Orvil!) and proceeded.

Since we were lacking in rouges, we decided the best way to figure what event we had would be to sacrifice a hunter. Prin and Orvil debated about it for awhile, in the end though Prin went and took one for the team. She stripped off all her gear minus her green shirt & guild tabard and went and started the event. Found out we had Romulo & Julianne and she FD'd beautifully. Once she announced over vent that she was busy laying naked on the stage we all ran in and rebuffed. [By the way I'd like to note: that naked hunters lying on the stage are my favorite kind of hunters ;)]

Opera: Romulo & Julianne
The event went down super smooth. I think only 1 death, which I believe was Sweed [My little nublet!] and that was easily taken care of because we had 2 druids who could BR. There might have been another death which I think was Lir, and I BR'd him but that might have been another fight. Anyway I digress.

They dropped:
Ribbon of Sacrifice which was picked up by Tabes
Masquerade Gown which was picked up by Tabes as well

Next event was Curator, after losing Cent who was our mage for the night, we pulled in Haydeez for some rouge dpsin'.

Curator
Got there no problem and the fight went off without a hitch.

He dropped:
Gloves of the Fallen Champion which was picked up by Kal
Pauldrons of the Solace-Giver which was picked up by Drunkmos for vendor trash since nobody needed it and we didn't have anyone who could DE it.

Decided to call it after that since it was getting late and people had to go. We go in again tonight to do Aran and anything else we feel like taking on.

Group 2 Kara raid list: [Mainly for my own benefit]
Kal, Orvil, Prin, Drunk, Krac, Chrol, Lir, Tabes, Haydeez, Evil, Tarina, Cent, Sweed

Jumping on the band wagon.

For the most part, if you are reading this it's because I sent you the link. However if you happen to stumble upon this and not know what it is allow me to explain.

I've started reading other blogs dealing with WoW (World of Warcraft) and decided that I'd jump on that bandwagon and start writing about my own thoughts and adventures. However unlike other blogs that I've come across I most likely won't touch the technical stuff because I am a dreaded casual. (It's okay you can all /gasp now - I said it.)

My guild is in Kara currently, we have 2 groups giving it what for and while we may get wtfpwnd every so often we have a lot of fun raiding together. Often cries of OMG NO MORE BALLS and DON'T MAKE TARINA STAYB YOU can be heard through out our vent server. The first of course talking about one of our Druid's who likes to throw around his heavy leather balls, and the second is referencing myself and how apparently I say words funny with my Chicago accent.

A bit about the girl behind the tree. I'm 21 and go to school part time and work part time. Which leaves me very little time to play, and as always RL comes first with me. (Something I'm glad that my guild is very understanding of.) I'm always up for trying to learn new things and am constantly working to improve my playing. I take way too many screen shots which I do plan on posting eventually.

This blog is merely going to serve me as a way to write about my adventures and to give me a place other then my personal blog to write about what's going on in game for me.
